Zusammenfassung
Seit Anfang der 80er Jahre wurden zahlreiche Phase-II-Studien mit natürlichen und rekombinanten α-Interferonen zur Behandlung des disseminierten Nierenzellkarzinoms veröffentlicht. Die Literaturübersicht ergab nach Auswertung von 18 Studien eine Gesamtremissionsrate von 16% (Kriegmair u. Hofstetter 1989). Insgesamt waren bei 881 behandelten Patienten 19 komplette und 120 partielle Remissionen zu verzeichnen. Die Responsraten in den einzelnen Studien lagen zwischen 5 und 26%.
