Abstract
The article investigates concerns of dynamics in hypermedia systems including dynamic evaluation of links, dynamic typing and extensible, persistent architectures. It presents the HyperScript system’s approach with respect to data model and architecture in order to achieve dynamics in system components and execution. The experiences with respect to architectural design alternatives, data model aspects, user interface issues, and performance limits are discussed.
