Abstract

During the past two decades there has been an obvious increase in extra uterine pregnancies (EUP) worldwide. Several factors seem to be responsible for this development, e.g., the increase in antibiotic treatment of salpingitis, the higher frequency of Fallopian tube surgery, and the use of intrauterine devices.
