Zusammenfassung

Unter externen Erektionshilfen versteht man konservative, äußerlich zu applizierende Hilfsmittel, die nur zur Durchführung des Geschlechtsverkehrs temporär angewendet und nach dem Geschlechtsverkehr wieder entfernt werden. Erektionsring und Vakuumsaugpumpe stehen mit unterschiedlichem Indikationsbereich als nichtoperative Alternativen den Patienten zur Verfügung, bei denen eine kausale Therapie nicht möglich ist und die semiinvasive Therapieverfahren wie die Schwellkörperautoinjektionstherapie oder operative Verfahren ablehnen bzw. bei denen letztere mit Risiken verbunden sind.
