Zusammenfassung
Beim Institut für Rechner- und Softwaretechnologie der GMD in Berlin wird im Rahmen des DIAMOND-Projektes ein Expertensystem zur Diagnose von Parallelrechnern entwickelt. Die vorliegende Arbeit befaßt sich mit der Behandlung sporadischer Fehler bei Kommunikationstests, so wie sie in diesem System implementiert worden ist. Das Augenmerk liegt dabei nicht auf dem Kommunikationsmedium, sondern auf den die Kommunikation unterstützenden Hard-und Softwareeinheiten bei den Kommunikationspartnern. Das Kommunikationsmedium selbst wird als intakt vorausgesetzt.
