Construction and Performance of Wire-Junction RF-SQUIDs

Abstract

Two-hole symmetric rf-SQUID’s were made by using a pair of wire segments to form the point contact Josephson junction. The SQUID’s are reliable, easy to make and to adjust, and have a sensitivity of 2.5 × 10−29 J/Hz.
