In Kapitel 6 wird die Rolle visueller Überwachungshilfsmittel innerhalb des vorgestellten Produktionsregelsystemkonzepts erläutert. Anhand mehrerer Monitorsysteme werden exemplarisch Realisierungsmöglichkeiten aufgezeigt. Am Ende des Kapitels wird in diesem Zusammenhang die Bedeutung statistischer Auswertungen und graphisch darstellbarer Kennzahlensysteme angesprochen.
