Abstract

Clinical toxicology is an old discipline with a young an still immature academic impact. Over the last two decades, however, much research information has been available with better and better scientific quality. Though most of the documentation is still based on case reports, their quality has improved and some multicenter studies have also been performed in which different treatment procedures have been evaluated.
