Abstract
Effects of uniaxial stress on the Superconductivity of grain- aligned composites of La2-xSrxCuO4 and YBa2Cu3O7 have been investigated. The Tc of La2-xSrxCuO4 decreases with increasing the uniaxial stress along the c-axis. For YBa2Cu3O7, the effect of uniaxial stress along the c-axis was not observed.
