Superconductive Pair Potential Studied by Optical Spectra of High-T c Cuprates

Abstract

We calculate the pair potential (gap function) of cuprate superconductors by the gap equation with the Eliashberg function determined from the dielectric functions. The electron pair interaction by exchange of longitudinal excision is of particular significance in elevating transition temperatures of Bi and Tl multilayered cuprates.
