Zusammenfassung
Der Ausdruck Dyspepsie definiert Symptome im Oberbauch, die vom Arzt auf den oberen Gastrointestinaltrakt bezogen werden. Diese Symptome können in den retrosternalen Bereich einstrahlen (1,2). Häufig ist Übelkeit assoziiert (3). Durch Mahlzeiten können die Beschwerden ausgelöst, verstärkt oder gebessert werden (4). Stuhlunregelmäßigkeiten sind zwar keine dyspeptischen Symptome (5), sie treten aber bei Patienten mit dyspeptischen Beschwerden häufig auf (6).
