Pilzinfektionen bei abwehrgeschwächten Patienten

Zusammenfassung

Zeitlich begrenzte (z. B. bei immunsuppressiver Therapie) oder permanente (z. B. bei AIDS) Immundefekte sind disponierend für aerogene invasive Pilzinfektionen, z. B. die Cryptococcose oder die Aspergillose (Staib 1989). Grad und Dauer der Abwehrschwäche bestimmen die Pathogenese und den Verlauf der Infektion. Die Cryptococcose ist nicht zuletzt auch wegen der besonderen Morphogenese und Epidemiologie ihres Erregers von besonderem Interesse (Emmons et al. 1977).
