Zusammenfassung
Der sekundäre Hyperparathyreoidismus stellt nach wie vor eine der Hauptkomplikationen der chronischen Niereninsuffizienz bei Langzeitdialyse dar. Im Skelett überwiegt die osteoklastäre Resorption den osteoblastären Neuanbau; es kommt zur Endostfibrose und zum Auftreten von minderwertigem Faserknochen entsprechend einer Ostitis fibrosa. Daneben können aber auch Veränderungen der Knochenmasse wie eine Osteosklerose oder Osteopenie auftreten. Die Patienten klagen über vermehrte Knochenschmerzen.
