Abstract
In this paper we present the research program in environmental externality costing of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (Energy Authority). Details about the projects that the Energy Authority has sponsored over the last two years are discussed along with details about a major new project just getting under way. We then present some of our thoughts and preliminary conclusions on this topic drawn from the results of the research program to date. The opinions expressed herein are our own and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Energy Authority.
