Abstract
Venous sinus thrombosis (VST) is a grave neurologic disorder that may be associated with otologic infection, head trauma, neoplasm, or coagulopathy. Systemic anticoagulation with heparin has been the mainstay of treatment during the early course. Experience with thrombolytic therapy is still scanty.
