Neue Entwicklungen in der Therapie von Lebertumoren

Zusammenfassung

Die erste Arbeit über intraarterielle Chemotherapie wurde von Bleichroder [6] publiziert, der 1912 eine Therapie bei Puerperalsepsis über Infusion von Collargol in der aortischen Bifurkation versuchte. 1959 benutzten Sullivan et al. [24] das Antimetabolit 5-Fluorasil (5-FU), zur Infusion in die Leberarterie. Seitdem ist die hepatische arterielle Infusion eine alternative Methode für die Behandlung der hepatischen Karzinome. Die Originalmethode für die hepatische arterielle Infusion war eine proximale Ligatur und distale Infusion von zytostatischen Medikamenten über einen chirurgisch plazierten Katheter [25]. Meist wird z.Z. die Infusionstherapie über einen chirurgisch applizierten Katheter via A. hepatica benutzt; diese Methode wird seit 10 Jahren regelmäßig angewandt.
