Zusammenfassung

Der Harnleiter sorgt für den Urintransport von den Nieren zur Blase. Jede pathologische Veränderung, die diese Funktion stört, kann zu Erkrankungen der Niere führen, wobei die Hydronephrose (s. S. 195–198) und Infektionen die häufigsten sind. Die Erkrankungen des Harnleiters können angeboren oder erworben sein.
