Zusammenfassung

Kongenitale Anomalien finden sich im Bereich der Nieren häufiger als in jedem anderen Organ. Einige führen kaum zu Störungen, bei anderen dagegen (z.B. Hypoplasien, polyzystische Nierendegeneration) kommt es zur Einschränkung der Nierenfunktion. Man hat beobachtet, daß Kinder mit Ohrdeformitäten und Fehlentwicklung der Gesichtsknochen auch Anomalien der ipsilateralen Niere aufweisen (z.B. Ektopie, Hypoplasie). Auch eine laterale Verlagerung der Brustwarzen wurde in Verbindung mit bilateraler Nierenhypoplasie beobachtet.
