Zusammenfassung

Praktisch kann jeder neurogene Erkrankungsprozeß zu Veränderungen der Blasenfunktion führen. Dies ist auf die komplexe nervale Steuerung der Blase zurückzuführen. Mit modernen Methoden zum Nachweis bestimmter Nervenbahnen im ZNS und durch sorgfältige Untersuchung der Patienten mit Hilfe elektrophysiologischer Techniken konnte nachgewiesen werden, daß die meisten Abschnitte des Nervensystems in irgendeiner Weise an der nervalen Steuerung der Blase beteiligt sind. Wie dies jedoch im einzelnen vor sich geht, oder warum 2 Patienten mit gleichen neurologischen Störungen völlig unterschiedliche Formen einer Blasendysfunktion aufweisen, blieb bisher ungeklärt.
