NMR Determination of Order Parameters in Quadrupolar Glasses

Abstract

The Edwards-Anderson order parameter was determined, by NMR in the quadrupolar glasses Na(CN)xCl1-x and NaxK1-xCN. The data show that there is a random field smearing of the quadrupolar glass transition.
