Conference paper

In single crystals with broken translational symmetry, as e.g. deuteron glasses, the spacial observation range of an NQR probe is of great importance. Local probes observe local properties, as e. g. the local polarization, but cannot distinguish between different types of clusters, whereas non-local probes are sensitive to spacial correlation in a range of about ± 2 lattice constants.
