Findings in Diseases

  • Chapter
Atlas of Brain Mapping

Abstract

The maps below showing diseases have been chosen to show the pathological topography of EEG states and EPs. Because of the novelty of this method reference is frequently made below to individual findings. To some extent, however, it has also been possible to study groups of patients with defined diagnoses. In these cases group means of controls as well patient data are shown. Statistical differences were determined by t tests for exploratory purposes and imaged in the form of topographical significance maps. Statistical confirmation made use of the above-mentioned procedures (ANOVA, MANOVA, etc.).
