Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between obstructive sleep apnea measured according to the apnea index (AI) and the symptoms and findings of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) in patients with suspected sleep apnea who either came to our outpatient department of their own or were referred by practitioners or other hospitals.
This study was supported as part of grant 265/3–2 from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, Bonn, Germany
