Scale Estimation of a Two-Dimensional Optical Concentrator Using Position Shifters

Abstract

Maximum scale, limited by birefringent plate characteristics, is estimated for a two-dimensional concentrator. The results indicate that a compact 1024-input-port concentrator is realizable.
