Abstract
The previous chapter reviewed the theoretical approaches toward the study of attribution — one can hardly speak of a comprehensive attribution theory -and the relevant research findings. This chapter examines the effects of attributions on various behavioral domains. It deals with the application of these models to issues in the study of motivation. Here, as in other areas of research, attribution theory provides a useful approach.
