Zusammenfassung

Dieses Buch setzt sich thematisch im wesentlichen aus 3 Teilen zusammen: 1) einer sehr langen Einführung (die etwa ein Drittel des Buches ausmacht), in der Grünbaum die hermeneutische Auffassung der Psychoanalyse, wie sie in den Arbeiten von Habermas, G. S. Klein und Ricoeur zum Ausdruck kommt, kritisch bewertet; 2) einer kritischen Untersuchung von Poppers Einschätzung der Psychoanalyse und des Induktivismus; und 3) einer logischen Analyse von psychoanalytischen Kernideen, die das Fundament für einen großen Teil der psychoanalytischen Theorie bilden. Dieser letzte Abschnitt stellt meiner Ansicht nach das Kernstück des Buches dar, und deshalb werde ich mich in dieser Besprechung auf diesen Abschnitt konzentrieren.
