Abstract
According to optical rotation data of its solutions [2] glucose comprises the equilibrium mixture of α- and (β-anomeric forms, the optical rotation of which varies from \(\left[ \alpha \right]_d^{20} + 111^\circ \) up to \(\left[ \alpha \right]_d^{20} + 19.2^\circ \) (Fig. II. 8).
