Abstract

Schenck (1987) described the objectives of the international culture collection of va-mycorrhizae fungi (INVAM) in Florida and the procedures for ordering cultures. Harley and Harley (1987) presented a first list of addenda and errata to a checklist of mycorrhizae in British flora. Stubblefield et al. (1987a, b) found well-preserved vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizae with chlamydospores and arbuscles in plants from the Triassic of Antarctica. The authors concluded that these results provided the most complete and convincing evidence for pre-Pleistocene vamycorrhizae in the fossil record.
