Abstract
The structure of the QED infrared singularities is reviewed and the various types of the Monte Carlo approaches to deal with them are briefly described. It is shown how to exponentiate the lowest first and second order QED calculation following the Yennie-Frautschi-Suura prescription and how to implement the corresponding multiphoton distributions in the Monte Carlo.
