Abstract
This book is meant to be both a textbook and a reference book of all methods of physical and chemical age determination. Owing to the profusion of material, a compressed presentation is necessary but with sufficient detail to give a comprehensive picture. The descriptions of the individual methods are, to a large extent, complete and understandable in themselves.
