Abstract
The stability of various hydrodynamical systems is studied using variational principles, A dynamic approach is developed, based on the approximation of “instant kinetics” on interphase boundaries. The crystallization waves are among the simple examples of active processes because the interchange of energy is a typical feature of phase transformations.
