Verhaltenstherapie in der Medizin

Zusammenfassung

Als zwischen 1978 und 1983 die Spielhallen mit „Unterhaltungsautomaten mit Gewinnmöglichkeit“ zunahmen und in den Medien gehäuft über „Spielsucht“ berichtet wurde, kamen die ersten Patienten mit exzessivem Spielverhalten in unsere Verhaltenstherapieambulanz. Sie waren z. T. von Drogenberatungsstellen an uns verwiesen worden, obwohl in der Ambulanz überwiegend Patienten mit Angsterkrankungen und funktionellen Organstörungen behandelt wurden.
