Zusammenfassung
Die Anwendung von unfraktioniertem Heparin im Rahmen der “low dose”-Prophylaxe hat die Zahl der gefürchteten postoperativen Thrombosen und Lungenembolien senken können, das damit verbundene Blutungsrisiko ist jedoch nicht unproblematisch. Die Entwicklung der niedermolekularen Heparine hat diese Nebenwirkung nur teilweise beseitigt (1, 3). In einer laufenden Untersuchung wurden Heparine derivatisiert und Daten zur anticoagulatorischen und antithrombotischen Eigenschaft erarbeitet.
