On the Three-Dimensional ± J Ising Model by the Transfer Matrix Method

Recently, the three-dimensional ±J Ising model has been recognized to undergo a phase transition from a paramagnetic phase to a spin glass phase mainly by the study of Monte Carlo simulations[1] and high temperature series expansion methods[2]. In this paper, we investigate the above model with binary distribution [P(Jij)=pδ(Jij−1)+(1−p)δ(Jij+1)] (0<p<1) by the screw transfer matrix method and a finite size scaling for LxLxN lattices(L=3,4,5).
