Abstract

The problem of D-decays into two hadrons has been treated theoretically by several groups: BAUER, STECH and WIRBEL [1] (BSW), CHAU and CHENG [2], KAMAL et. al. [3], BURAS et. al. [4] in 1/N approach, BLOK and SHIFMAN [5] in a QCD sum rule approach and TERASAKI and ONEDA [6] using soft boson techniques. Recently there have been attempts [7,8] at relativistic calculations of the decay amplitude. These attempts fail to reproduce the experimental data on B(Ds→ρoΠ+). In a relativistic calculation, an improvement over the older calculation of BANDER et.al. [9], SILVERMAN and YA0 [10] have investigated the role of gluon emission from the initial state in the total decay rates.
