Tetrahydrofurans, Pyrrolidines and Cyclopentanes by Intramolecular Cyclization of Kolbe-Radicals

Abstract

Tetrahydrofurans, pyrrolidines and cyclopentanes are synthesized by intramolecular addition of 5-hexenyl radicals generated by Kolbe-electrolysis from carboxylates.
