Abstract

The papers in this section have in common that they deal with configurations possessed of rather exceptional geometrical complexities which drastically affect the characteristics of their associated turbulent flows. The complexities are either artificially contrived and controlled, to allow the investigation of specific phenomena, or are the natural consequence of the configuration of interest.
