Abstract

The variations in the recommendations for immunizations, or vaccinations as the World Health Organization (WHO) prefers them to be called, are indeed numerous.

Let us consider first the two which can be considered to be mandatory, namely yellow fever and cholera. The latter should not be so considered but more about that later.
