Abstract

In the treatment of liver metastases, surgical intervention has gained importance in the last few years [8]. Refined resection techniques and the development of various regional therapeutic procedures for nonresectable or disseminated metastases [2,9] have led to an increase in therapeutic possibilities and defined new indications for surgery.
