Transient Phenomena in Mössbauer Gamma Radiation

  • Chapter
Zero-Phonon Lines

Abstract

Transient effects observed in Mössbauer coincidences and in the stepwise phase modulation of the Mössbauer radiation are considered both theoretically and experimentally, The main time-frequency dependences of the transmission and scattering transients are illustrated by corresponding experimental results on 57Fe and 119Sn Mössbauer resonances.
