Abstract
Preoperative fine needle aspiration and cytodiagnosis (aspiration cytology) of soft tissue tumors is being used with increasing frequency [1, 2]. Aspiration cytology (AC) of soft tissue tumors, usually to differentiate benign lesions or tumors from sarcomas, has so far shown itself to have a diagnostic accuracy comparable to that of AC of various types of epithelial tumors [1, 2].
