Zusammenfassung

Zur Sedierung während der Regionalanästhesie stehen eine ganze Reihe verwendbarer Substanzen zur Verfügung, eine anschauliche Übersicht gibt eine Arbeit von Salehi [14]. Die beschriebenen überwiegend positiven Aspekte der Sedierung mittels Midazolam können wir nach unseren Erfahrungen bestätigen. Es liegt ein gewisser Nachteil des Präparates in der noch teilweise recht langen Aufwachphase (bis über 1 h) und somit nicht idealen Steuerbarkeit.
