Zusammenfassung

Es ist eine Frage von grundsätzlicher Bedeutung, ob ein Zustand, der dem Patienten keine Beschwerden verursacht, überhaupt behandlungsbedürftig ist. Da diese Frage eng mit der Sicherung der Diagnose der zugrundeliegenden KHK und der Belastung der nachfolgenden Prognose zusammenhängt, soll sie für die unterschiedlichen Typen von Patienten mit stummer Myokardischämie im folgenden getrennt erörtert werden.
