Zusammenfassung
Von 56 Patienten mit malignem Teratom bzw. fortgeschrittenem Seminom wurden die Ergebnisse der Computertomographie mit den pathologischen Stadien in Beziehung gebracht. In 68% der Fälle wurde das Tumorstadium richtig durch die CT erfaßt. Für das Gesamtkollektiv betrug die Sensitivität 61% und die Spezifität 87%. Da 13 von 33 Patienten mit klinischem Stadium I nicht als metastasiert von der CT erkannt wurden, bleibt eine abwartende Haltung im klinischen Stadium I des Hodentumors auch bei negativem computertomographischem Befund problematisch.
