Zusammenfassung

Das Postcholezystektomiesyndrom (PCS) zählt wegen der Häufigkeit der Cholezystektomie zu den etablierten postoperativen Syndromen. Der in den fünfziger Jahren entstandene Begriff [27] ist jedoch seit seiner Einführung umstritten, so daß häufig Synonyme wie „sogenanntes“ PCS oder „Trotz“-Cholezystektomiesyndrom verwandt werden. Viele Chirurgen lehnen den Begriff PCS ab, weil darunter auch nicht operationsbedingte Beschwerden verstanden werden. Grill [10] schlägt daher die Bezeichnung „Beschwerdekomplex nach Gallenwegseingriffen“ vor.
