Abstract
This final section will not attempt to add anything of systematical interest. Its modest aim is to use results we have hopefully achieved, in contributing to the clarification of the concept of a rule of language, or a linguistic rule. This concept, as well as related ones, have played and still play a mostly helpful role in philosophical discussions. Its role could possibly be even healthier still if some ambiguities were avoided more often then they are in fact avoided. Avoiding ambiguities becomes easier if one realizes systematic connections between different interpretations. Therefore, what I shall try to do is to sketch systematic connections between different things which may be called ’rules of language’.
