Pharmakologische Begründung für die therapeutische Anwendung von Flunarizin bei zerebraler Hypoxie, Anoxie und Ischämie

Zusammenfassung

Der zeitliche Verlauf pathologischer Ereignisse bei Sauerstoffmangel im Hirngewebe konnte in den letzten Jahren genauer beschrieben werden. Dies wurde dadurch möglich, daß parallel zur Messung des Intermediärstoffwechsels die interstitielle Konzentration verschiedener Ionen mittels ionenselektiver Elektroden gemessen werden kann. Eine solche Messung ist in Abb. 1 dargestellt. Bei Ratten wurde eine Anoxie durch Stickstoffbeatmung induziert. Ionenselektive Elektroden, die 1000 µm unterhalb des Kortex positioniert wurden, registrierten die H+-, K+- und Ca++-Aktivitäten kontinuierlich. Darüber hinaus wurde das DC-Potential, Ausdruck des neuronalen Membranpotentials, gemessen.
