Abstract
The prices of antibiotics may vary remarkably from country to country. Usually, the classical standard antibiotics are more expensive in Europe. The prices in Germany are relatively high. The prices of antibiotics relative to each other, however, are similar all over the world. Tables 8.1 and 8.2 show prices for daily treatment with the main oral and parenteral antibiotics in Germany.
