Abstract
Plant cells exhibit two types of cytoskeletons, the microtubular and the microfilamental network. In developing pollen of Gasteria the microtubular (MT) skeleton was investigated (Van Lammeren et al. 1985**) Here we present observations on the actin skeleton before, during and after meiosis.
