Zusammenfassung
Bei jeder Art von Verletzung kommt es zur Auslösung der Gerinnungskaskade, wobei wir es sowohl mit humoralen Aspekten, d. h. der Umwandlung von Fibrinogen in Fibrin unter Abspaltung der Fibrinopeptide, zu tun haben und andererseits mit einer zellulären Reaktion, an der vorwiegend die Plättchen beteiligt sind. Für beide Systeme ist das Thrombin von entscheidender Bedeutung, nämlich einerseits für die Fibrinogenumwandlung und andererseits für die Stimulierung der Thrombozyten (Abb. 1).
